Marsh Haven is closed for the winter season December 12, 2022 through April 2023. Off-site and special programs are offered throughout the winter.

Marsh Haven Opens for 2023 Season
April 15
Marsh Haven will open for the 2023 season on Saturday, April 15, 2023. The Nature Center will be open weekends 10am to 4pm and Thursdays and Fridays 12 to 4pm.

Volunteer Work Day
April 22
Stop by and help with spring clean up. Indoor and outdoor tasks. Snacks provided.

Earth Day Celebration
April 23
Plant milkweed, make a recycled craft, hike, and visit with the critters. Wildlife Helpers activity. Play Marsh Haven Bingo and learn ways to help the Earth. Wild Birds of Prey Program at 1pm in the Respect Our Earth theater.

Nest Box Hike
May 12
Join Marsh Haven Nature Center director, Renee Wahlen, as we hike the nest box trail. This easy hike will include frequent stops to monitor the 40+ nest boxes at Marsh Haven. We will record our discoveries and learn more about what birds are building nests and raising their young at the nature center.
