Experience living history at Marsh Haven Nature Center

Take a step back in time at Marsh Haven Nature Center during the weekend of September 25th thru 27th. The annual Fall Living History Festival welcomes re-enactors and artisans who will share their role in history and skills from the past. Tents and encampments will be set up for the weekend at Marsh Haven Nature Center, W10145 Highway 49, three miles east of Waupun.   

There will be educational and hands-on demonstrations indoors and outside, including: War of 1812, blacksmithing, soap making, candle making, butter churning, old time games, fiber arts, wood carving, ice cream making, and so much more.

Friday, September 25th is our Education Day where we welcome local schools and homeschoolers to experience Fall Living History for free. Schools are welcome between 8:30am and 2:00pm, and all schools must RSVP to our director at 920-318-9518 or director@marshhaven.org with their school name, number of students, and approximate arrival and departure times. The first 500 students will be admitted. Those who do not RSVP will be charged normal admission fee. Admission for this special event is otherwise as follows- $5/adults, $3/children 6- 14yrs old, 5 and under free. Members are always FREE! Admission is good for the entire day and includes the nature center and hiking trails.

On Saturday September 27th, all seniors 65+ will receive free admission to the event. In order to receive the free admission, you must stop in the gift shop to ask for the senior discount.
