Marsh Haven Nature Center’s resident opossum would like to educate you about their awesome opossum family. These often misunderstood creatures are actually very beneficial. As North America’s only marsupial – females have a pouch, like a kangaroo – opossums have many amazing adaptations. After this introduction, you will see the opossum in a whole new way!
