MARSH HAVEN NATURE CENTER is on the north end of the Horicon Marsh, three miles east of Waupun, Wisconsin.  Founded in 1984, our non-profit, volunteer-supported center offers visitors an opportunity to learn more about the history and wildlife of the Horicon Marsh area. Hike the trails, learn about nature at one of the education programs, join us for special weekend events, or bring a group for camping. Membership has many benefits, including free nature center admission and gift shop discounts.

Marsh Haven Nature Center is currently closed for the winter season. Trails are open daily 10am to sunset. The Vine/Griffith Education Building will open for weekends starting February 7th. Starting April 9th we will be open Thursdays & Fridays 12 to 4pm and Weekends 10am to 4pm.

LOCATION AND HOURS

Marsh Haven is located on the north end of the famous Horicon Marsh, three miles east of Waupun, Wisconsin on Hwy 49.

We open for the season in February 7th, weekends only. Starting April 9th we will be open Thursday thru Sunday and close December 13th for the season. During this time, our hours are:

  • Thursdays & Fridays: 12pm–4pm
  • Weekends: 10am–4pm
  • Weekends only: February, March, November & December
  • Trails open daily 10am until sunset
