Have you wanted to learn to weave baskets but didn’t know where to start?

Here’s your chance to jump in and learn!

I’m Karen Hartman and seriously started weaving baskets instead of being a Basket Case when I had cancer 26 years ago. This class is an introduction to basket weaving.  Learning the basic basket weaving technique (over and under) and twining. You will begin by making a garlic basket, wall hanger, or a small twined round basket using round reed. Using flat reed you will learn to make a basic woven basket and different possible finishings.

You can add your own personal touch by adding yarn, ribbon, and other natural fibers – please free to bring things you would like to incorporate or share.
